Privacy policy

Effective July 2026

Introduction and Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Signalward — operated by Porter Ward, Georgia, United States — collects, uses, and protects information submitted through the contact form on this website. It applies only to information collected through this website and does not cover information Signalward may separately receive once a client engagement begins under a signed agreement. By submitting the contact form, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

Information We Collect

When you submit the contact form, Signalward collects the information you choose to provide, which may include your problem area, company name, team size, tools currently used, your name, email address, phone number, and any free-text message. This website does not require you to create an account and does not process any payments, so no account credentials or payment information are collected. Signalward does not knowingly collect any special categories of sensitive personal data through this form.

How We Use Your Information

Signalward uses the information submitted through the contact form solely to respond to your inquiry, assess whether Signalward's services fit your needs, and follow up about a potential engagement. Information is not used for unrelated marketing campaigns or repurposed beyond the scope of your inquiry unless you separately agree to that use. If your inquiry does not lead to a client engagement, Signalward retains the information only as described in the Retention section below.

Cookies and Analytics

Signalward may use PostHog, a cookieless analytics tool, to understand general website usage patterns such as page views and traffic sources. This analytics data does not rely on tracking cookies and is used in aggregate form to improve the website's content and performance rather than to identify individual visitors. If analytics is not enabled at any given time, no such data is collected.

Service Providers and Security

Signalward relies on a small number of trusted third-party providers to operate this website and process inquiries: Resend, which delivers contact form submissions by email to Signalward's operator; Vercel, which hosts this website and its underlying infrastructure; and, where enabled, PostHog, which provides cookieless analytics. These providers process data on Signalward's behalf under their own industry-standard security and privacy commitments, and Signalward relies in part on their infrastructure to help keep your information secure, though no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

No Sale of Personal Data

Signalward does not sell, rent, or trade any personal data submitted through this website to third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes. Information you submit is used exclusively for the purposes described in this policy and is shared only with the service providers necessary to deliver and operate the contact form and website, as listed above.

Data Retention

Information submitted through the contact form is retained for up to twenty-four (24) months from the date of submission, after which it is deleted or anonymized unless a client relationship has since been established and a longer retention period is required for that engagement. You may request earlier deletion of your information at any time as described in the Your Rights section below.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information Signalward holds about you by emailing hello@signalward.co. Signalward will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time and will delete or update your information unless retention is required to comply with a legal obligation or to complete an active client engagement. There is no charge for making a standard access or deletion request.

Children's Privacy

This website and its contact form are intended for business use by adults and are not directed to children under the age of 16. Signalward does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and if Signalward becomes aware that a child has submitted information through the contact form, that information will be deleted promptly.

Changes to this Policy and Effective Date

Signalward may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in its practices, service providers, or legal obligations. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date, and continued use of the contact form after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. This Privacy Policy is effective as of July 1, 2026; for questions about this policy or to exercise your rights, contact Signalward — operated by Porter Ward, Georgia, United States — at hello@signalward.co.
