Counter
A medical-billing watchdog — insurance and provider portals connected in one place, EOBs read automatically, and billing errors turned into cases a patient can actually fight.
The brief
American medical billing is an adversarial document system pointed at people who don't read insurance paperwork. Counter reads it for them: explanations of benefits ingested from connected insurance portals, provider bills lined up against them, and discrepancies surfaced instead of paid.
Each discrepancy becomes a case — tracked from detection through dispute — with an auto-file threshold the user controls, so small errors are handled without a second thought and large ones never slip through unnoticed.
In build: the account, onboarding, portal-connection and case data layers are in place; extraction and dispute automation are underway.
How it runs
The structure of the build, end to end — each stage hands off to the next.
